Raise.Me Scholarships
9-12th Graders. Start earning college scholarships now!
Raise.me helps students in 9th - 12th grades to discover colleges and earn scholarships for their academic and extracurricular achievements throughout high school. These bite-sized scholarships are called “Micro-Scholarships”. When students add achievements to their Portfolio on Raise.me, they could be eligible to earn Micro-Scholarships towards our partner colleges. These achievements can include good grades, participating in clubs, playing on a sports team, volunteering, or even starting a club. They can include AP or IB courses, honors classes, and college-level courses, too.

New Local Scholarship for Seniors!
Ely Area Credit Union
Scholarship $500
The
Ely Area Credit Union is offering a $500 scholarship to a member of the Ely
Memorial High School Senior Class. The
Board of Directors of the credit union will review all of the submitted
applications and choose the recipient.
The scholarship will be paid to the recipient after the first semester
of post-secondary education is complete and the student presents their grade
sheet to the credit union.
Eligibility:
1. Applicants
must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
2. A
letter of recommendation from a classroom teacher.
3. Applicants
must be involved in at least one school activity or community activity.

ACT Test Prep Through MCIS
Students. Did you know that there are free ACT test preparation resources available to you through MCIS online?! Here is how to access them:
1. Go to https://mncis.intocareers.org/materials/portal/home.html
2. Sign into your account. See Mr. Townsend if you can't remember your user name or password.
3. Click on the "My Portfolio" tab.
4. Under "Test Prep" click "College Entrance/GED/ASVAB Tests"
5. Click the two resources "ACT Practice Test" and "ACT Online Course"
