David DeLeo Scholarship $1,000

Seniors.  The David DeLeo scholarship is offering a $1,000 renewable scholarship for those pursuing a degree in Physical Science, Engineering, Geology, Mining, or a related discipline.  Pick up an application in the counseling office.  Applications are due April 1st.

Ely Area Credit Union Scholarship $500

The Ely Area Credit Union is offering a $500 scholarship to a member of the Ely Memorial High School Senior Class.  The Board of Directors of the credit union will review all of the submitted applications and choose the recipient.  The scholarship will be paid to the recipient after the first semester of post-secondary education is complete and the student presents their grade sheet to the credit union.

Eligibility:

1.    Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

2.    A letter of recommendation from a classroom teacher.

3.    Applicants must be involved in at least one school activity or community activity.
